Increased safety for the chemical company INEOS Phenol

In the front gardens of Gladbeck lies the production facility of Germany’s largest producer of phenol and acetone. The chemical company INEOS Phenol produces 650,000 tons of phenol a year here. However, standing in front of the tree-lined entrance, the air smells no different than if an insurance company were located behind it, and not a chemical plant. Joachim Pieper, CEO of INEOS Phenol GmbH, explains in a short video statement how safety, quality, and environmental protection come together in his company.
