domestic sales led auto major Tata Motors on Sunday report nearly 39
per cent decline in November sales at 40,863 units, its lowest in at
least three years.
The company had registered a total sales, including exports, of 66,500 units in November, 2012 and 76,823 units in the same month of the previous year.
Tata Motors' domestic sales in November this year slipped by over 40 per cent to 37,192 units compared to 62,354 units in November last year.
Exports also declined to 3,671 units from 4,146 units a year earlier.
"The company's sales of commercial vehicles in November 2013 in the domestic market were 26,816 units, LCV sales were 19,993 units, while M&HCV sales stood at 6,823 units," Tata Motors' said in a statement.
Sales of passenger vehicles in November 2013 were at 10,376 units.
