Nifty recovers from intraday lows; Tata Motors, IDFC and Bharti gainMUMBAI: 

 

The Nifty staged a bounce back from support level of 5,850 and hit fresh intraday highs led by gains in Tata Motors, IDFC, Bharti AirtelBSE 1.23 % and Tata PowerBSE 1.79 % even as the European markets remained subdued.

At 03:05 p.m.; the 50-share index was at 5,890.05, down 6.90 points or 0.12 per cent. It touched a high of 5,889.95 and a low of 5,853.90 in trade today.

The Sensex was at 19,485.10, down 12.08 points or 0.06 per cent. It touched a high of 19,512.89 and a low of 19,399.01.

The BSE Midcap Index was up 0.12 per cent while the BSE Smallcap Index declined 0.67 per cent.

The BSE Oil & Gas Index was down 0.82 per cent, the BSE IT Index was 0.54 per cent lower, the BSE Healthcare Index declined 0.41 per cent and the BSE Power Index was 0.24 per cent lower
