International workshop at Mandollagudem observatory 

A five-day Sixteenth International Association for Geomagnetism and Aeronomy (IAGA) workshop on Geomagnetic observatory instruments, data acquisition and processing commenced at the National Geophysical Research Institute’s (NGRI) observatory located at Mandollagudem village of Choutuppal mandal in Nalgonda district on Tuesday. Speaking to The Hindu, senior scientist Kusumita Arora said that the workshop is being held once in every two years. The previous two workshops were held in China and USA in 2012 and 2010 respectively.
