has plunged almost 8% to Rs 284 in noon deals on reports that the 2G
Trial Court has summons Sunil Mittal, chairman and managing director of
the company in the additional spectrum allocation case.
“The court took cognizance of a CBI charge sheet filed against Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and others for alleged irregularities in the allocation of additional spectrum during the NDA regime, and has summoned all the accused to be present on April 11,” NDTV Profit report suggests
A Delhi court also summoned Essar Group promoter Ravi Ruia and Ashim Ghosh, former CEO of Vodafone Essar, the report said.
The stock opened at Rs 310 and hit high of Rs 312 on BSE. As many as a combined 15.15 million shares have already changed hands on the counter so far against an average sub five million shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on BSE and NSE.
