MCA to rope in Google, BSNL to caution investors
First phase expected to begin in April, will run for atleast 3 months
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs is planning to rope in Google and BSNL
to spread awareness among investors against fraudulent companies, money
laundering schemes as well as chit funds etc.
"We are in active talks with BSNL and Google and will finalise a comprehensive plan within next 10 days," a senior official in MCA
said.
The first phase of the programme is expected to begin in April and run for at least 3 months. "Thereafter, we will sustain the programme and add more value to it in the next phase," the official said. Going forward the ministry will tie up with more players.
