SOCIAL MEDIA NEWS: Pinterest gets a new look

Image-led social network, Pinterest has started rolling out a new site design to make it easier for its 48 million users to discover more pins.
The redesign is said to aid users in discovering more content, including that posted by brands, to pin to their boards by suggesting pins based on what users are pinning.
Other changes to the site include allowing users to view pins from the same board and pins from the same source without the need to navigate away from the page they are on; bigger pins to allow users to see more of what they love, and a fix so users don’t lose their place on the page when browsing.
The announcement follows Pinterest’s recent launch of a web-based analytics tool for brands to track user engagement.
