MUMBAI: K K Gupta has taken over as Director (Marketing) of state-run oil firm Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL).
Gupta has 32 years of experience in the oil industry after joining BPCL in 1979. He was till recently Executive Director (Retail), the company said a statement here today.
Gupta played an important role in planning and consolidating logistics infrastructure for the company. He introduced the model location concept to set benchmarks in operating standards at all BPCL locations, it added.
